The “Auto-Trac™” snow chain is a brand new product that will drastically change the tire chain industry. Our patent pending “Auto-Trac™” snow chains are easy to use and provide superior performance. They are AUTOMATIC, just as the name implies. Merely install and drive; no need to stop and re-adjust “Auto-Trac™” does it all. The “Auto-Trac™” will automatically tighten and center the chains as the vehicle’s wheels turn and the diamond pattern alloy chain provides superior traction with extended life. The key components to the “Auto-Trac’s” performance are the two self-tightening ratchets designed by Peerless. The ratchets continually pull the destructive slack chain tight and center the chains which in turn improves the overall chain performance. The use of self-tightening traction chains is widely accepted in Europe and Japan but only through our exclusive Peerless design and innovation is this product now available at an economical cost in the United States. Auto-Trac™ Ratchets Keep Tightening
The new “Auto-Trac™” snow chains superior performance comes from our Peerless designed self-tightening ratchets that are simple to use yet durable. The convenient two position flip lever allows easy operation while installing or removing the chains. Lift up to install, press down to tighten; it’s that simple. The ratchets are constructed of high impact polycarbonate material with specially designed seals to keep the internal components operating smoothly. They have been thoroughly tested to insure superior, extended performance.

The “Auto-Trac™” has case hardened alloy cross-chains that provide extended wear life and excellent traction. The most brutal snow chain test is to drive on dry roads with dry conditions until the chains wear through. Our Peerless dry road tests exceeded 140+ miles which surpasses even the toughest European standard of 75 miles and our test chains were still capable of more miles, we just ran out of road. The diamond cross chain pattern also provides improved traction by keeping more chain on the road where it needs to be. Combined with the square shaped material our chains provide a smoother ride with aggressive contact to the road. All of which insures increased performance over traditional ladder style chains. “Auto-Trac™” cross chains have a low 12mm profile and are available in 3.5mm wire diameter for passenger cars and 3.8mm diameter for light trucks or SUV’s.
